Ritchey Alpine JB Comp Tire
$36.95
Jobst Brandt was an important figure in Tom Ritchey's life. Along with Tom's father, who was also a cyclist, Jobst was an important mentor for Tom - faithfully sharing his vast engineering wisdom while also actively influencing Tom's riding. Bound only to the thrill of experience and exploration, for decades Jobst's and Tom's tires rode over more than a few different surfaces on any given ride. It's these adventures with Jobst that helped inspire the Alpine JB tire. This unique bicycle tire is built to ride wherever your two-wheeled journeys may take you. It rolls beautifully on all-day rides along smooth country roads, yet it has enough tread to gracefully navigate roads with minimal municipal maintenance or long stretches of gritty gravel. The Alpine JB enjoys a 120 TPI casing, is tubeless-ready and employs the unique VFA tread design - a pattern that's mostly recessed in the rubber of the tire, rather than relying on protruding knobs more commonly found on such tires. Thanks to the inverse tread, rolling resistance is smoother compared to traditional knobby tires, yet grip and confidence remain inherent features. An added benefit is that the Alpine JB is more durable because there are no knobs to wear down. - Tubeless-ready (only 35c) - VFA tread design - 120 TPI
Ritchey WCS Tom Slick Tire: Stronghold Casing
$39.95
Ritchey's Tom Slick is the original gravel monster. With deep, grip-boosting VFA grooves and a tough Stronghold reinforced casing, these tires are what you want when the ride keeps going after the pavement ends. Stronghold reinforced casing resists cuts and punctures and allows for lower pressures without increased risk of pinch flats.
Ritchey Megabite 700x38 Tire
$49.95
Tom broke ground when he developed Vector Force Analysis, bringing to market unique tread patterns that were directional and use specific. The first tire to receive all the benefits of VFA, MegaBite was highly successful for many of our 'cross riders. The return of the MegaBite sees the reintroduction of an extra wide tire and a lighter toothy tread pattern that's more supple than before and with a tubeless-ready casing.
Ritchey WCS Speedmax Tire: Tubeless Ready
$69.95
Originally designed for the 1996 Olympic games, the Ritchey SpeedMax is back and better than ever. Re-envisioned for 'cross racers and gravel riders alike, SpeedMax delivers a remarkable ride quality and low rolling resistance, making this all-rounder tire the perfect choice for all-terrain exploration. - Size: 700x40c - Weight: 514g (WCS)
