Most decent mountain bikes these days come with 15mm through-axles up front. You have two options for mounting to a SeaSucker rack: use a somewhat-more-expensive Fork Up adapter, or use their dedicated 15/100mm fork mount. The 15mm fork mount is bolt-on, meant for riders who are always using their rack with their thru-axle bike. According to Seasucker's friend and MTB pro Macky Franklin: “The 15mm fork mount is perfect. So much steadier than using the adaptor.” If you’ve got a Boost front hub (15/110mm), make sure to get one of Seasucker's Boost Adapters (sold separately) to get the fit right.
If you’re riding a 20/110mm front hub, you have two options for mounting to a SeaSucker rack: use a somewhat-more-expensive Fork Up adapter, or use their dedicated 20mm fork mount. The 20mm fork mount is bolt-on and is meant for riders who are always using their rack with their thru-axle bike.
Made to fit Seasucker's Bomber and Mini Bomber bike racks – just swap the Add-On Front Wheel Holder for one of the fork mounts, and now your front wheel doesn’t have to ride in the trunk anymore. Elongated entry slots for the skewer allow the wheel to rest on the platform of the rack, providing additional stability when driving. Made for standard road, cross and MTB wheels, but requires the MTB Plugs (sold separately) to hold a 15/100mm or 15/110mm (Boost) through-axle. Made from .25-inch powder-coated aluminum. Fits all SeaSucker fork-mount racks: Talon, Mini Bomber, Bomber, and Falcon.
Boost front hubs exploded on the scene in 2015/2016 and SeaSucker needed a way to mount them to their 15mm Fork Mount. Lo and behold, this 15mm round, 10mm wide spacer they made works like a charm. Just insert your skewer through your fork and 15mm fork mount, then slip the spacer in between the far side of your fork and the fork mount before you finish pushing the skewer through and screwing it tight.
Don’t let some jerk steal your bike! Since SeaSucker bike racks aren’t bolted on to rooftop bars, we came up with a way to keep your bike safe. A Cable Anchor is just what it sounds like – an anchor point to securely connect a cable loop to your car. The Cable Anchor – Window, slides over the glass and rolls up into the window frame. Each is made of polished stainless steel and has a wide 1.375-inch hole to thread a cable lock through. The Cable Anchor - Window, is not recommended for tinted windows.
On the off chance our standard 6-inch Rear Wheel Strap cup (provided with the Talon, Mini Bomber or Bomber) doesn’t fit the space available on your car, we offer a more compact version with our smaller 4.5-inch SeaSucker vacuum pad. The Compact Rear Wheel Strap does NOT have the cupped rear wheel housing that comes standard with the regular Rear Wheel Strap. The strap is 22 inches and will fit most fat bike tires.
The Flight Deck turns your regular old Rear Wheel Strap into a front-wheel holding superstar. It can be used with the Talon, Mini Bomber or Bomber, and uses the existing Rear Wheel Strap as part of the package. The front wheel mount features elongated entry slots for the wheel’s skewer that allow the wheel to rest on the platform of the rack, providing additional stability when driving. The .25-inch aluminum front wheel mount fits up to a 29? wheel and sits on a black HDPE platform. Made for standard road, cross and MTB wheels. Requires the MTB Plugs to hold a 12/100mm or 15/100mm through-axle. NOTE: this product is incomplete on its own - it MUST be combined with an existing Rear Wheel Strap to work. Approx. 13?x6? footprint.
Our high-end Komodo rack (rest assured, though, it works with any of our fork-mount racks) demanded some way to carry the front wheel as well, and the Hogg seemingly popped into existence. Replace your rear wheel’s axle nut with the anodized aluminum Hogg nut and then you can screw on the Hogg body when you’re ready to transport your bike. Your front wheel’s quick-release skewer clamps onto the Hogg body and off you go! Comes with an anti-rotation strap to stop your wheel from spinning pointlessly when attached. For quick-release hubs only.
6-inch SeaSucker with a 1.5-inch wide hook-and-loop strap to secure your bike’s rear wheel and keep it from moving left or right when driving. This item comes standard with the Talon, Mini Bomber and Bomber bike racks – it does not need to be ordered separately.
